Homemade Skin Care Products Are Safe

Homemade skin care products have been used since time in memorial. They use the same concept as the factory manufactured cosmetics. They are made from natural gentle acids. Among the products that have acids are the nuts. Almond paste is smeared on the skin to act as lighter. In addition people use lemon juice to hasten the bleaching effect of the sun. When orange or lemon citric acid is applied on the skin it dries off and the dry skin is flaked giving a lighter look.
The down side to this concoction touches a cut or pimple it usually stings like crazy. A kind of lotion was added to dilute it and lessen the sting effect. Some of the women used the hydrogen peroxide on their skin. However, when this chemical is applied on skin tissue, it causes irritation and can be quite toxic.
